Birthday Bliss

Another birthday’s in the books, and this one included a pretty fun celebration in the form of an international pot-luck home party. How totally amazing it was when guests turned up with spectacularly enticing dishes. It was also really special watching my guests collaborate so wonderfully in the kitchen and finding artistic flow to accompany their culinary preparation.
It was all in all fabulous evening filled with stimulating conversation with folks connecting on so many intriguing levels. Yes indeed, I felt truly loved on my birthday.

Joe the Pilgrim

When I asked him, “What’s your story” little did I expect his response.
Joe had just finished a more than two month pilgrimage on the Japanese island of Shikoku.
He was in good spirits and happy to share some of his newly discovered epiphanies including his fascinating observation of the existence of humor everywhere.
It was a true divine intervention that brought our wandering souls together in such a random first meeting as we embarked on a truly magnificent day together with new friends, music, dance and lofty conversation.
